In this article, we will explain how to set up your Instagram account in professional mode to connect to mLabs.

Important: According to Instagram's API rules, only Business and Creator accounts can be connected to external platforms like mLabs.

1. Open the Instagram app on your mobile and go to your profile feed. In the upper right corner of the screen, click on the icon identified by three bars:

2. Click on the settings and privacy option:

3. If the account is set to professional mode as a content creator, the creator tools and controls option will be visible:

If the account is set to business mode, the business tools and controls icon will appear among the options:

1. If your account is not set to professional mode, when you click on the settings and privacy option, Instagram will provide the account type and tools option. Click on it and carry on with the process:

2. Click on the item to switch to a professional account:

3. A screen with a carousel-type presentation of professional tools will appear. Click the continue button:

4. Select the most appropriate category for your account and click on the "done" option that will be enabled:

5. Choose one of the account types and click to proceed:

6. If desired, complete the setup steps indicated by Instagram. Otherwise, click on the "x" icon in the upper right corner and conclude the process:
