Scheduling allows you to automate the sending of your reports at the frequency you define. Reports are sent with updated information automatically, without the need to edit them each period.
You can send them automatically every Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (weekly), or once a month (monthly) by choosing the 1st, 5th or 10th.
The report will be sent with the time interval (data period) counting from the sending date.
For example: If the report is sent on 01/01/2023 with the period selected “Last month”, the time range of the data in the report will be from 12/01/2022 to 12/31/2022. Data is automatically updated whenever a new appointment occurs.
You don't need to edit data and time periods in scheduled reports.
Values are automatically adjusted.
How to schedule?
Once you've completed the report, you can schedule its recurring sending by clicking on the clock icon located at the top of the edit screen.
Enter the subject of the email.
Edit the message or use the default.
Check or uncheck the option “Insert signature…” (To update or register your signature click here)
Select the sending frequency (weekly, monthly) and data period.
Click Save and you're done.
Optionally, you can enter a start date and end date for the schedule to be active. To do so, select a start and end date in the fields:
The schedule will be automatically canceled the day after the configured end date.
Editing a Schedule
You can edit or cancel the schedule whenever you need. To edit an already scheduled report, click on the same clock icon used to create the schedule:
The schedule is active until you cancel it.
To cancel, simply click the clock icon to the right of the corresponding report in your list of reports (https://app.dashgoo.com/reports)
Scheduled report
Once scheduled, the reports are identified as follows in the listing:
About the data in the app
Scheduling runs independently of the web tool. Inside Dashgoo, the last report that you saved will always appear with the period that was last saved. This period will be what appears in the report when you open it within Dashgoo, no matter what schedule you make.
Already in scheduling it runs with another period, and always updates in a new period (automatically defined), which is what will be sent by email.
You can change the report with the period you want in Dashgoo, this will not affect the already active schedule.
Recommendation: Before scheduling, download a PDF and check that everything is right with the chosen layout and settings, as the scheduled reports will be sent using the same structure and definition of the report you created. If you have any problems, correct them before booking.
Your report will always be sent at the defined frequency. It is important to open your scheduled reports from time to time to verify that everything is right with the data collection, as problems with the connection to the data source providers (Google ADS, Google Analytics, Facebook, etc.) may occur.
ATTENTION: For scheduled reports, avoid adding too many widgets as some providers, such as Facebook for example, require a certain connection timeout. Therefore, when generating the report, if it has many widgets, some may run out of data.
